Belly baby news - Had weekly Dr. appointment today. Cervix is still not dilated- not even trying. So that means next week we will decide if we induce, perform C section or hold out hoping cervix will come open on it's own! This pretty much confirms we're having a boy resembling Rick's personality (all is good, no rush man, life in the belly is kosher) whereas if it was a girl resembling Michelle's personality (get me out of here, where is the party?, where are we going next?) this cervix would be moving along! Of course, all opinions are just that- non biased, ready and eager parental opinions! So we might be able to pick out Baby Thompson's b-day after all!
China baby news - we're told the average wait time for adoptive parents has moved from 20 months to 28 months! That's like an extra year. Of course, we'll take it all in stride and be happy whenever they tell us to pack our bags, even it will be late 2009 instead of early 2009.

- We met while working for an Event Marketing Company in St. Louis, MO. We traveled the United States promoting companies. Got engaged in Venice, Italy while backpacking across Europe in 1999. Moved to Chicago and married in October 2000 in San Antonio, TX. Loved Chicago, but missed TX so moved to Austin and stayed there 3 years.
