Harper ~ 7 and 8 months
7 months
8 months
So Harper at 7 & 8 months:
- is sitting up more without falling over
- starting to pull down her bumpers to look out / over
- very aware of things around her- especially Jonah!
- likes patty cakes, one two buckle my shoe
- eating stage 2 foods
- favorite jar foods are sweet potatoes and beef macaroni
- likes to eat real banana, watermelon, and strawberries
- will roll all over the place
- everything goes into the mouth
- weighs 20.5 oz
- loves to splash her face with water in the pool and tub
- when waking up from nighttime or nap- will just lay in her bed and "talk" to herself
- holds her own bottle to drink
- loves to drink water from a sippee cup
- goes with the flow- so passive
- will only cry for more food or if she is really tired
- will clap her hands and will do it when we say "clap"
- is participating in story time at the library - likes the puppets, music and bubbles
- will always laugh when Jonah dances or does silly things in front of her
- knows she has a voice: will yell really loud
- "talks" and "talks" all the time
- getting better at picking up puffs and cheerios
- likes to swing - biggest smile ever!
