We celebrated Harper's bday a little early because the following weekend after her real birthday is our anniversary. So I'm guessing going forward, it will most likely be that way since the 2 events are only 2 days apart.
We had an Elmo theme because really- could it be anything else? The girl LOVES Elmo and lights up when she sees anything that red creature is on! So we bought some decorations, had an Elmo cake made and hung up lots of "1" for the celebration.
We hosted friends and family for some games (of course) and salad with pizza.

Game: putting pics in order from month 1 to month 12
Game: we put 422 cheerios into a bottle and everyone had to estimate how many were in there- closet guess: 400 by Willie and Jared
Game: we created 10 questions quiz All About Harper. Everyone had to pick out correct answer on multiple choice questions ranging from her favorite food, how much she weighed, how many nights in hospital, favorite book, etc. Winner- Aunt Justine
And during the party - the TX Rangers baseball game was on- they won and are now in the World Series for the 2nd year in a row! *****Click on Elmo cake for pics from the party!
