Ahhh-- we're home and adjusting to our new party of 3! Jonah had his first Doctor appointment yesterday. He cried the entire time- I think he wanted to make sure everyone knew we were there! He's healthly and due back in a couple of days to make sure he is gaining weight. It is an awesome experience for us -- as we now see us as parents-- rookie parents- but none the less parents of a handsome little man. Rick and I are taking turns napping and have appreciated everyone helping us too.
What we have learned in week 1:
- try not to overstress- go with our instinct and make adjustments along the way- we were overloaded with what books said, people said, etc. Now we go with the flow!
- milk is really GOLD!
- cat naps are so under rated.
- there really is good TV at 3AM.
- amazingly how much love we have for someone we've only met 1 week ago!
