We were able to check out Saturday morning. Jonah had his special "going home outift" from Aunt Justine and was cleared to go! His first Dr. appointment is Monday morning.
We were all glad to be home and start having some kind of normalacy to our lives. We were greeted with family and friends and stork to boot!
We gave Jonah a tour of his new digs...... Rick thinks he liked the media room the best. : > His nights and days are messed up, which means, we're messed up too. Eating is going well, he loves looking all around him and hearing the chaos of our lives, and being cuddled up like a tamale.
My first Mother's Day was special- we started celebrating it at 2:00 AM-- didn't want to miss anything! Rick and Jonah made it extra special (what great men I have in my life). And then my mom came over to celebrate (watch Jonah) while Rick and I took a nap!
We are truly blessed and grateful for all the prayers and look forward to many more sleepless nights with our handsome little man.

- We met while working for an Event Marketing Company in St. Louis, MO. We traveled the United States promoting companies. Got engaged in Venice, Italy while backpacking across Europe in 1999. Moved to Chicago and married in October 2000 in San Antonio, TX. Loved Chicago, but missed TX so moved to Austin and stayed there 3 years. Now living in Dallas area and ejoying the expansion of our family in May 2008 with Jonah and Harper in October 2010!
