A Day of Thanks & Giving

"Hope everyone had a relaxing time with friends and family!"

We started our Turkey Day EARLY..... we have the annual tradition of completing the Dallas Turkey Trot and kept to it! We dropped Jonah off at Grammy's house for some spoiling time and took our niece and nephew down to complete the 5K. It was a little chilly, but not as bad as previous years. Jonah will join in the fun maybe in a couple of years when we're not worried about keeping him outside in 40 degree temps for 3.5 hours. There was lots to do for the kids (petting farm, bounce houses, samples and music). We completed it with minimal complaining on all parts. A great way to start a day knowing that later on we'll all be stuffing our faces!

Later on that day we went over to my sister's house for some good eating and playin'. There was a Thanksgiving Trivia game (you'd be surprised how much WE don't know about this special day) and then a fun game of Taboo-- just for the record the Girls won..... but whose keeping score??

* look at Jonah's foot inside the toy- he was playing seriously, no messing around!

trivia time
Taboo- don't say that word!
