Being Thankful for Family

The Pena family reunion was this past weekend and what fun it was to see Aunts, Uncles, Great Aunts and Uncles and tons of cousins! There was about 140 of us all in one place-- WOW! Lots of planning went into organizing such a fun event. Thanks especially to Kim and Donna for doing sooooo much! The reunion combines all of my Grandpa's brothers and sisters families together. We've had these every since I was litte and it's nice after all these years they still continue. Each family is represented in a different color shirt (so we can know who belongs to who). Even though my grandparents were there physically, there spirit was alive and it was nice to catch up with everyone. Not everyone was there as some families live too far out of town or had prior committments, but many made the time to spend an entire day having fun and being thankful for each other. Until next time~

The entire gang....

Our family color is gray.

There was Bingo for the older generations.

And Pictionary for the younger generations.

And deep family discussions about medical histories- what older generations are experiencing and what we can do to take care of ourselves now.
