After a few times, I got the picture- he's doing the same things he would do with us, just at a different location. Got it! And people say I'm not a quick learner! Really, it wasnt' as hard as I thought- maybe because I'd been talking myself through this one for about a month, knowing school would be starting and anxiously awaiting our first breaks Labor Day, Fair Day, Thanksgiving, etc. And besides, Mrs. Caroline is wonderful-- she already loves him and takes such good care of him. So we picked him up from Mrs. Caroline where we were greeted with a big smile for Mom & Dad- just what Mom needed to see! As of this Aug. 15th, Jonah will be full time with Mrs. Caroline and his new friends (which are all boys until October when a little baby girl arrives).
Then we headed to our Accupunture Doctor as Jonah has a mild cold due to his teething. So lots of drool and knawing on everything. So as if getting up early, going to someone else's house all day, being away from Mom & Dad aren't enough, we were taking him to get needles in him to help "open" his blockages. He didn't cry with the needles, but let out a whale when Dr. Louder worked on his neck, behind his ears and sides. Note: we still have our Pediatiran and using both Dr. for Jonah. Our good friend Treva, helped this weekend by guiding me through some "natural" treatments for Jonah vs. over the counter medciation. Thanks to her and Dr. Louder's expertise, Jonah is being treating for a mild cold with all natural, homopathic treatments- which rests very well with Mom & Dad. Jonah never had fever, which if he did, we would have immediately taken him to our Pediatrican. So it's just sniffles, drool and lots of hands in the mouth.
