Some friends gave us Monday Night Football tickets to watch the Cowboys & Eagles. Since we are not Cowboys or Eagles fans we accepted the tickets to join the farewell to the old, beat up, outdated TX Stadium. Game started at 7:30, we left our house at 5:30, and it took us 3 HOURS to get there (it's a mere 25 miles mind you). Gotta love that Dallas traffic! We had great seats and were surrounded by a few Eagles fans. The whole ironic thing about THIS game is that almost 10 years to the date-- when were on tour with Burger King in 1998, we went to a Monday Night Football game in Philly, PA where they played the Cowboys. It's not like we make a habit of going to NFL games as these are the only 2 ever. But crazy the only 2 we've ever been to are the same teams, both played at OLD stadiums about to be demolished and both games won by the Cowboys, and both times the rivalry strong as ever!
