Well this past weekend marked FOOTBALL season in the Thompson household! And everyone who knows Rick know that means we see and hear very little from him until January after Super Bowl.
So I had lots of running around to do this weekend, which I thought would entail Jonah. Boy, was I wrong. Rick generously volunteered for Jonah duty ALL DAY so I could run around. How nice, right? Well of course - He volunteered to watch Jonah while sitting on the couch watching football. I see how it went! Hey if he's gonna watch football all day, at least he is watching, feeding, playing (gotta love Tivo) with Jonah too- it's a true win - win for all!
Jonah is fully turning himself over- he loves it. We lay him on his back and he immediately rolls over. No more 'back to sleep' for him-- it's all tummy! He even lifts himself up if he needs to burp while on his tummy. It scared him the first time and we certainly stopped in our tracks too.
We have his 4 month check up next week. Usually this appointment has 7 vacainations for babies. After much research and discussions, Jonah will only be receiving one of those vaccantions. At first we had an alternate schedule created for him, then changed it even more after new discoveries. So we're filed our affifviate with the State and are on our way. It's such a touchy and personal responsiblity- one that we are not taking lightly.
This was taken a few weeks ago, but it took me awhile to post.
He's holding his head up much longer now.
