Wait, Wait and more Waiting
China Baby News Update: We'll be waiting longer-- yuk! We got notice yesterday that the average wait time has been extended longer. When we first received our log in date (LID)- they told us the average wait was 18 months. Our LID is Sept 2007. Then Jan 2008 we were told the wait is now 24 months. And as of yesterday, the wait is 30 months and is getting longer. So our hunch was right to start this process so early. We knew the wait would be long and are now learning it's longer than long! Oh well- as we read in our Adoptive Families blogs, websites, etc. waiting is a burden. However, knowing in 30 months from Sept 2007 (that puts China baby coming home around early Winter / Spring 2010) or even longer, we'll have a beautiful baby girl to join our family is well worth any wait!
