So each month we've noticed new things Jonah does. And in our short span of being parents, the 4 month mark has been the most fun! Here's what we've seen in our little one-
- He's realized he's got fingers - he puts them together like he's praying, he is grabbing on to things (small pieces on his jumper, his rattle, etc.). Granted these things have been there all along, but Jonah has just seen what he can do with them. He's got a grip as he has pulled my earrings and hair on more than one occasion.
- Jonah's got a voice- ok really not a talking voice, but still a voice / sounds that are truly interactive. He loves to "talk" to us and hear his voice, he loves to coo and laugh out loud.
- Tummy is the way- when all else fails, place him on his belly and he is one happy camper!
- He's noisy- feedings are taking a little longer b/c he is so busy looking around at everything and everyone. He follows everyone that moves.
- When he wakes up, it's no more of this whale of a cry that he was hungry. He now lays in his bed looking around, talking to himself for about 15 - 20 minutes before the hunger pains set in.
- He's ticklish on his feet- this gets out the best laugh we've heard (still trying to get that on tape).
- Everything comes in close to the face. Jonah loves to place things right up to his face, smelling, tasting and looking at anything we place into his hands.
- Longer naps and good sleeping at night- we love now that is sleeping 9.5 - 10 hours a night- everynight! Amen!
